Capital Resource Management (CRM) is a department within Administrative and Resource Management (ARM) that is responsible for advising and assisting the Chancellor and Provost with the planning, oversight, and allocation of future and existing capital improvements on the UC Davis Campus. CRM is comprised of two units (Capital Program Management and Space Resource Management) each managing various aspects of the capital program.

Capital Program Management (CPM) is responsible for the management of the Capital Improvement Program. Capital improvements consist of new facilities, utility infrastructure modifications, and renovations. CPM reviews proposed projects to ensure they are justified, assesses proposed funding plans for feasibility, and reviews projects for consistency with campus, university, and state policies regarding the use of capital funds.

Space Resource Management (SRM) supports the campus leadership by implementing and overseeing campus space policies and allocating building space to campus units.  SRM works with dean and vice chancellor offices to develop space master plans, align space use with program needs and available resources, and identify opportunities for optimizing space efficiency.
